Two Russian Black Sea warships equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles will reinforce the naval force in the Mediterranean, Sputnik news agency quoted Black Sea Fleet spokesman Capt. Nikolai Voskresensky as saying on Wednesday.
"The Serpukhov and Zeleny Dol small missile ships of the Black Sea Fleet, which embarked on a long voyage from Sevastopol on October 4, have passed the Black Sea straits and will enter the Mediterranean waters in the evening.
It is planned that the Serpukhov and the Zeleny Dol will be part of the Navy's permanent task force in the Mediterranean as part of a planned off-shore maritime zone rotation," Voskresensky said.
