
Two Turkish security personnel were killed in separate incidents in southeastern Turkey, reported Turkish Anadolu news agency.
Twenty-eight members of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) have been killed and two security personnel have been martyred in separate incidents in southeastern Turkey's provinces of Mardin, Sirnak and Hakkari since Saturday, said a statement released by the Turkish General Staff, adding that nine PKK members were killed in Mardin's Nusaybin district Saturday.
Also, a police officer was killed and seven others were injured in Nusaybin town center Sunday in an improvised explosive device blast, the statement added.
