
At least twenty dead bodies of suspected militants were recovered from Khyber tribal region of northern Pakistan bordering Afghanistan, said security officials. The dead bodies were recovered from Bara Tehsil of Khyber region who according to officials were killed during a military operation by Pakistan forces on militants last week. The Assistant Political Agent Bara Tehsil, Nasir Khan confirmed the killings, adding that the suspected militants were killed in the Kharmatung area of Bara on the border of Frontier Region Dara Adamkhel. The security forces launched the operation after an attack by the militants on the security forces check post killing two Frontier Corps (FC) personnel.
