Two separate migrant boats have sank of the coast of Greece overnight killing at least 21 people, according to Daily Mail.
Although many were rescued by the Greek and Turkish authorities after their boats capsized, among the dead were six children and a woman.
In the first incident, a wooden boat carrying 48 people sank in the early hours off the small islet of Farmakonissi in the eastern Aegan.
More than 40 passengers made it to the shore including a young girl, but authorities recovered seven bodies from the sea.
A coastguard official said: 'Six children and one woman drowned while another 41 migrants on the vessel managed to swim to the shore.'
Then just hours later, a small wooden sail boat also tipped over off the coast of Kalolimnos, an islet to the south of Farmakonissi.
The Coastguard rescued 26 people from the water but also recovered the bodies of 14 people, who drowned.
Authorities said it was unclear exactly how many people had been on the vessel as estimates from survivors ranged from 40 to 70.
