At least three people were killed and other 12 injured Saturday in a train accident in Kafr Ramada train station, Banha governorate, official news agency MENA reported. The accident took place when the train was running in a very high speed, which led the train's carriages to scramble and stampede before it derailed in the Kafr Ramada train station.The train was heading to Shebin el-Qantaer city of Banha governorate. Dozens of angry people blocked the railway of the Ramada area between Qanater and Qalyoub areas, protesting the horrific crash. Urging the railway travellers to stay inside the carriages for their safety, the Railway Authority said in a statement after the accident that there were some people on the top of the train which got them not protected against such crash. The dead bodies and the wounded people were transferred to Qalyoub General Hospital.
