Three NATO soldiers were killed in two separate insurgent attacks in eastern Afghanistan, the International Security Assistance Force said Sunday. Two soldiers died in a roadside bomb attack Sunday, while a third was killed Saturday in a separate incident, Khaama Press reported. Further details were not immediately released by the NATO-led ISAF. The ISAF also said in a news release that an undetermined number of insurgents died in a NATO airstrike in the Mohammad Agha district of Logar province. Meanwhile, Taliban militants abducted five Afghan private security guards and killed them Saturday, Khaama Press reported. The guards' bodies were recovered Sunday from a highway in the Jalriz district. The bodies showed signs of torture and use of guns, witnesses told Khaama Press.
