3 rescued as fire guts flat at Seef district in Bahrain

Two women and a child were rescued today in a fire that broke out in a flat on the ninth floor of a building at Seef District. The fire brigade rushed to the scene after being notified and were able to put the fire out and save the two women and the child who suffocated because of gas inhalation, the Acting Director General of the Civil Defence Directorate said, pointing out that negligence was behind the blaze.
