"In past 24 hours, Afghan National Police (ANP) conducted several joint cleanup operations with the cooperation of Army, NDS (intelligence service) and Coalition Forces in Nangarhar, Kapisa, Kunduz, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Logar and Helmand provinces. As a result 30 armed Taliban were killed, 38 wounded and three others were arrested," the ministry said in a statement, Xinhua reported.
