
30 Taliban militants were killed and 38 others injured in joint operations carried out by Afghan security forces and the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan (ISAF) during the past twenty-four hours in different regions of the country. Afghanistan’s Interior Ministry said in a press statement today that its forces carried out with ISAF several joint operations in different parts of the country killing 30 Taliban militants, wounding 38 and arresting 3 gunmen others. The statement added that the operations carried out Nangarhar, Kapisa, Kunduz and Kandahar, Uruzgan, Logar, Helmand, Kunar, Samangan.
