A total of 45 Libyans injured during the conflict in that country were brought to Turkey's largest city Istanbul Sunday night for treatment, the state-run Anatolia news agency reported Monday. The 45 injured Libyans and their accompanying relatives were taken to the private Goztepe Medical Park Hospital. The Libyans were flown by a private plane from the Libyan town of Misrata and transferred to hospital in 24 ambulances. Mustafa Akcay, an official at the hospital, said the hospital staff has to be prepared for all contingencies since they only find out the nature of the injuries carried by the wounded upon their arrival in Istanbul.
