Five people are missing after a landslide buried a section of a road in southwest China's Yunnan Province Saturday evening, according to local authorities.
The accident happened around 7 p.m. at a village in Funing County and local authorities have found five people are out of contact after government workers visited households in several villages, said a spokesman with the county's publicity office.
Witnesses said they saw people passing by the road when the disaster occurred.
More than 200 rescuers, along with six excavators, are searching for the missing people in the debris, with a length of about 150 meters.
