
Head of Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA) Ahmed Abul Saud said 54 African countries supported Egypt in hosting the 14th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD/COP 14) in 2018.
The remarks came during the closing ceremony of a training course held by Environment Ministry under the theme of "Managing environmental disasters, preparing emergency plans, reducing risks and adapting to climate change".
Abul Saud expressed happiness over the success of the course held over the past two weeks, to exchange views and experiences with the African side, especially in reducing risks of climate change.
