"Pulse of Life" aid campaign supported by five Arab countries for Syrians began on Thursday with a press conference in Istanbul. The press conference took place at the headquarters of the IHH Humanitarian Aid Foundation in Fatih district of Istanbul and was attended by IHH's Chairman Bulent Yildirim, Secretary General of the Union of Muslim Scholars Ali Muhyiddin Karadagi, Chairman of the Syrian National Council George Sabra and representatives of the aid campaign. Speaking at the press conference, Bulent Yildirim underlined that Islamic countries decided to provide aid to the Syrian people. "Pulse of Life" is an aid campaign of the International Platform for Solidarity with the Syrian People. Under the campaign, aid worth five million USD will be distributed to the Syrian people. Arab countries supporting the aid campaign are Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia.
