7 Iraqis killed, 23 injured in series of blasts in Baghdad

Seven Iraqis were killed and 23 injured in explosions caused by booby-trapped vehicles in the capital on Sunday, while unknown armed men killed a TV host in the northern city of Mosul. A security source told KUNA that an improvised vehcile parking near the crowded Maridi market area at Al-Sadr city, killing two civillians and injuring six others. Another car loaded with explosives was detonated in Al-Hai area in Al-Husseiniya area in northern Baghdad, killing one civilian and injuring two others. The source added a booby-trapped vehcile was detonated in northern Al-Kasra area, killing one civilian and injuring three others. One civilian was killed and seven injured in an improvised bomb left inside a public transportation bus at Art colloge in Al-Waziriyah area, north of Baghdad. Police said that it has foiled a booby-trapped vehcile in Bab Al-Sham area, after police force were able to dismantle the bomb during a time where five other similar bombs exploded in the same area.
