9 Jordan, Yemen discuss trade, industrial cooperation

Jordan’s Ambassador to Yemen Suleiman Al Ghuweiri discussed on Wednesday with President of the Yemen Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hassan Al-Kabous ways to bolster joint cooperation in the trade and industrial fields.The meeting also touched on the possibility of organizing joint industrial fairs as well as ways to develop industrial estates in Yemen along with investment promotion laws.Further, they reviewed the upcoming meeting of the Higher Jordanian-Yemeni Joint Committee, which will convened between January 27 and 30.The envoy spoke about the investment climate in Jordan as well as incentives and investment-friendly laws in the Kingdom, noting that Jordan is a secure and stable country in a volatile region.
