9 militants killed, 3 vehicles destroyed and a number of wanted men arrested in Iraq

Baghdad Operations Command announced on Saturday 1 Feb. that an army force killed / 6 / terrorists and wounded / 4 / others and destroying / 3 / vehicles after clashing with them in al-Mahasna area - the area between the Euphrates River and al-Tharthar Canal and the dismantling of two explosive devices in the same area.Baghdad Operations Command said in a statement today that another force has also killed / 3 / terrorists and wounded / 4 / others after the attempt by an armed terrorist group to attack some army sites within the areas of al-Tella - Al- Khaimah – al-Bazil, while the others fled.It added that the security forces arrested a number of wanted men in accordance with Article / 4 / in different parts of Baghdad during the past /24/ hours.
