Abbas meets Ashton in Brussels

The Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met Wednesday with European Union Foreign Policy Chief, Catherine Ashton, in the Belgium capital, Brussels. Abbas discussed with Ashton the stalled peace process due to the Israeli intransigence, the latest development in the Palestinian request to gain full membership in the United Nations, the national reconciliation file and the developments in the Middle East.
