Abbas meets Italian president

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met on Monday with his Italian Counterpart Giorgio Napolitano in Ramallah now visiting here. The Italian President flew in Ramallah earlier today to discuss bilateral ties and means of enforcing them, in addition to the peace process and paelstinian national reconciliation which was signed recently in Cairo. The treaty was signed in Cairo on April 27 by a number of Palestinian national figures and groups including the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) the largest Palestinian Liberation Organization, Fatah.
