Palestine’s President Mahmoud Abbas held talks here on Saturday with president of Karachay-Cherkessia Rashid Temrezov where Abbas informed him about the latest developments of the Palestinian cause and the ongoing Isreali attacks and violations against the Palestinian people . The two leaders also discussed prospects of trade exchange and investment in areas of mutual concern to the two sides .The development of business contacts in various industrial spheres between the two countries were also taken up. Abbas and his accompanying delegation arrived in Karachay-Cherkessia earlier on Friday. Earlier Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin met in Moscow with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas where they discussed joint cooperation and the situation in the Middle East, and the possibility of the resumption of Palestinian-Israeli negotiations Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is a frequent guest of the Russian regions. In previous trips to Russia he visited Chechnya, Dagestan, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan and Chuvashia.
