Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister today met with the heads of the department and members of the working group of the ministry tasked with obtaining the “Excellence Award in the Institutional Planning” from “The Open Group”. The team headed by Dr. Saeed Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Advisor to the Minister, Information Systems, won the ISO Certificate 9001/2008 in the Quality Management System. During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah hailed the role of the working group and the departments certified to the ISO, in attaining the achievement that would not be possible without the commitment and dedication of the staff and their thrive for excellence at the ministry in order to make it a role model in performance. He confirmed the importance of teamwork and the need for joint cooperation among various departments and sectors, pointing that individual excellence and fair competition are the cornerstone of the group work. At the end of the meeting he expressed his pride on the staff and his confidence in their potentials and hard work to achieve the vision and goals of the ministry. The meeting was attended by Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs Ministry.
