Abu Dhabi Prince stresses importance of strengthening relations with Japan

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Gen. Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the importance of further strengthening the relations between the United Arab Emirates and Japan in all field. Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed arrived in the Japanese capital, Tokyo, Tuesday on a two-day official visit to the country. In a statement upon his arrival at Tokyo Haneda International Airport, Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed said that relations between the UAE and Japan represent a model for the ever-evolving relationship. He highlighted the keenness of the leaderships of both countries, since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1971, to promote and develop these relations in various fields in a way that achieves the interests of the two countries and enhances the well-being and prosperity of their peoples. Sheikh Mohammad expressed hope that the visit will contribute to achieving a quantum leap in the march of bilateral relations and be an important occasion to exchange views on current developments and work on exerting every possible effort in support of peace and stability in the region.
