Abu Dhabi City Municipality, ADM, has underlined the importance of upgrading procedures to provide the best services, ensure optimal service management, and adopt top asset management practices through concerted efforts with all partners.
To this effect, a workshop was organised by a number of infrastructure assets management teams in collaboration with the Opus Middle East Company, and Al Khozma Engineering Consultants. The workshop, which was entitled, ‘Planning and Improving Asset Management programmes,’ was attended by representatives of the Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport, the three municipalities, external centres and strategic partners.
Through this workshop, the municipality intended to ensure that all parties involved in asset management, be it municipal workers or strategic partners, implement best practices in the Municipality’s internal sectors and relevant government authorities.
The workshop was aimed at upgrading and integrating the Asset Management Section with strategic partners: projects, maintenance, external centres, and accounts divisions, improving procedures, operations in coordination with strategic partners, and uplifting the skills and efficiency of employees.
