Advisory council participates in Arab parliament meetings in Cairo

A delegation from the Advisory Council will participate in the1st regular session of Arab Parliament of 2012, held in the Arab League headquarters in Cairo from 17-21 March 2012. The agenda of the session includes on the first two days a seminar titled "Combating Poverty in the Arab World - Future Vision". On March 19 and 20, the Permanent Committees, including the committee for relations activation with regional groups, Foreign, political Affairs and national security Committee, Economic and Finance Affairs Committee, Legislative and Legal Affairs and Human Rights Committee and Social, Cultural, Women and Youth Affairs Committee will meet to discuss topics of their agenda. The Arab Parliamentary Union will hold on the last day two plenary meetings of the first regular session of 2012. The Qatari delegation includes a number Shura Council's members and officials as well as member of the Transitional Arab Parliament Dr. Aisha Yusuf Al- Mannai.
