Afghanistan's Wolesi Jirga or the Lower House of parliament disqualified ministers for defense and interior on Saturday on the issue of cross-border attacks and failing to deal with the deteriorating security incident across the country. A total of 228 out of 249 members were present in Saturday's session and out of that 146 members has voted against Defnese Minister Abdul Rahim Wardak and 126 voted against Interior Minister Bismullah Mohammadi, the speaker of the hour Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi announced. Afghanistan accused Pakistan army of launching rocket attacks on its eastern provinces over the past couple of months, charges denied by Pakistan. Ibrahimi also called on President Hamid Karzai to introduce two designate ministers for defense and interior ministers to the Wolesi Jirga to receive the vote of confidence at an early time.
