Afghan president strongly condemn Peshawar attack

Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani strongly condemned a deadly terrorist attack on a mosque in Peshawar that left 21 worshipers dead and more than 50 others injured, the Khaama Press reported.
In a statement issued by the Presidential Palace on Saturday, Ghani described the attack as a "brutal act."
"Killing of defenseless individuals, particularly those offering prayers, is solely un-Islamic and inhuman act that is never justifiable," the statement quoted Ghani as saying.
He offered condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims.
The president emphasized that terrorism was a common threat for the region and the word and that firm struggle was required in fight with it.
The attack took place in Hayatabad area of Peshawar where about 800 worshipers had gathered to offer Friday prayers in Imamia Masjid Imamabargah, leaving 21 worshipers dead and more than 50 others injured.
Terrorists entered to the mosque in Police uniforms.
Initial reports indicated that three of the suicide attackers carried out explosions inside the mosque while fourth one was killed in the exchange of fire with the security forces.
