
Afghan President Hamid Karzai will pay a state visit to China from September 25-28, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said here Monday. His visit is at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, Chinese News Agency ( Xinhua ) quoted the ministry's spokesman Honglei as saying at a daily press briefing. During his visit, Karzai is due to meet with a number of leaders and high-ranking Chinese officials to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields between the two countries. During the visit, Karzai will also attend the opening ceremony of the Euro-Asia Economic Forum (EAEF) 2013.
