
Afghan security agency or National Directorate of Security (NDS) captured three Taliban-linked terrorists from the northern Takhar province on Saturday, a statement of NDS released here Sunday said. "Three Taliban terrorists who were involved in subversive activities and targeting the police department of Ashkamish district couple of days ago, were captured," the statement said. All the captured terrorists are Afghans and had operated under Taliban local commander Mullah Jano, it added. Personnel of NDS, according to the statement, also discovered 31 kg opium poppy from a car and arrested its driver from Rastaq province of Takhar province on Saturday.
