Afghan Foreign Affairs Ministry officials extremely denied allegations by Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rahman Malik who said that Afghanistan is supporting a prominent Pakistani Taliban leader. Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said elements of the Afghan government are supporting a senior Pakistani Taliban leader who is fighting to topple the Islamabad government. Pakistan has repeatedly called on Afghanistan to hunt down Taliban commander, known as Fazlullah, whose fighters cross the border in their hundreds, set up ambushes and attack army checkpoints. However Afghan foreign affairs ministry spokesman Janan Mosazai denied allegations by Pakistani interior minister Rehman Malik, according to Afghan online newspaper (Khaama Press). Khaama Press quoted Janan Mosazai as saying that Pakistani officials are looking to distract international attention from militants sanctuaries based inside the Pakistani soil.
