Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called for unity among the world's independent states, saying that no power can damage the relations among nations.The Iranian president made the remarks in a meeting with President of Nigerien National Assembly Hama Amadou in Niamey on Tuesday."If independent nations such as Iran and Niger become united … no power will be able to taint the relations between the two nations," Ahmadinejad said.The enemies do not want friendly ties among brothers and are constantly involved in plotting and propaganda, but the will of the nations and governments will overcome the desire of the enemies," he added.President Ahmadinejad, heading a high-ranking delegation, embarked on a three-day tour of Africa on Sunday. He is currently in Ghana in the third leg of his tour and has already visited the Benin and Niger in West Africa.
