The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) described on Sunday the lifting of Iran's sanctions as a "dangerous moment for America and our allies," The Jerusalem Post reported.
The removal of the sanctions on Iran "is a turning point in Iran’s strength as a terrorist state and in its ability to pursue regional dominance," it said in a statement.
Iran has violated UN resolution by testing ballistic missiles and Iran has upped it's support for Syria's Assad and Hezbollah. These actions do not inspire confidence in Iran regarding the implementation of the nuclear deal, said the statement.
"A peaceful and secure world requires that Iran never attain a nuclear weapon nor dominate its neighbors. Today, AIPAC urges the President and Congress to resolutely pursue those objectives."
