Al-Araby, Libyan FM discuss latest developments in Libya

Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Al-Araby held talks Saturday with Libya's Prime Minister Ali Zeidan on the latest developments in Libya, particularly forming a commission to draft a new constitution on February 20. Arab League's deputy secretary-general Ahmed Bin Hilli said to the press that topics were discussed in the meeting including preparations for an upcoming international conference on March 6-7 held in Rome on Libya's security and stability and setting up new institutions. The meeting also considered the Arab League's meeting of Foreign Affairs and Arab Summit to be held in Kuwait in March, he said. Deputy secretary-general pointed out that Libya's prime minister briefed Al-Araby on developments and efforts to achieve security and stability in Libya and new drafting a new constitution.
