Kuwait Ambassador to Cuba Bader Al-Awadhi Tuesday described relations between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) on one side, and countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, namely Cuba, on the other as "deep." Al-Awadhi made the remarks during a dinner banquet he held in Havana in honor of GCC Secretary General Abdulateef Al-Zayani, which was attended by Arab Ambassadors to Cuba and a number of Cuban Foreign Ministry officials, Kuwait's Embassy in Havana said in a statement. Al-Zayani is attending the January 28-29 Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC).
