Al-Bashir Meets Kuwait's National Assembly Speaker

Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir on Saturday met with Kuwait's National Assembly Speaker Ali Al-Rashed, currently on a visit to Khartoum. They reviewed bilateral relations between Sudan and Kuwait and means of enhancing and developing them in all fields. Al-Rashed said his visit comes as he participates in the meeeting of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUOIC), which takes place in Khartoum. He noted that the meeting will discuss several issues, including the Palestinian cause and developments in Syria and their repercussions.
