
Members of the Representatives Council were honoured to meet His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Monarch of Kingdom of Bahrain, and hand in the annual report of the works of the Council. Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Khalifa Bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani stressed the pioneering steps of His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa towards establishing a developed democratic phase, and an advanced step in the reform project. Al-Dhahrani also asserted HM the King’s establishment of a true translation of reinforcing the democratic culture, and participation in making the decision, which reflects the true national spirit for the contents of the Bahraini society, highlighting that HM the Kings’ support is the safety for the success and continuity of the democratic march in Kingdom of Bahrain. Al-Dhahrani praised the principle of fruitful cooperation and the exchanged respect between the Legislative and Executive Authorities, as well as the joint efforts which contributed in establishing an important principle in the democratic march, that are translated on the grounds through the response of the respected government with the Council’s desires for the country’s and citizens’ interests. Al-Dhahrani also lauded the development of national action which will promote more achievements and gains, expressing his utmost appreciation for the fruitful cooperation with the respected government chaired by the Prime Minister, HRH Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa. Al-Dhahrani commended the great support of the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, HRH Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Al Dhahrani highlighted that the parliamentary experience has accomplished important achievements at the legislative and audit levels. He said that the Representatives Council could meet a lot of the citizens’ living aspirations, through the legislations and laws, which offer them a decent human life, where the citizen enjoys dignity, development and welfare. Al Dhahrani expressed his wishes for all to have success in bearing such national responsibility in serving public interest, and accomplish the progress and prosperity of homeland and citizens. Al Dhahrani highlighted that the fourth session of the third legislative chapter will be more vital and consolidating the role and works of the Legislative Council in general, and the Representatives Council in particular. The fourth session will also be a complementary to the parliamentary action, and an active supervisory role that urges towards achieving more important and vital files and projects active in enacting legislations, and the law supporting the service of homeland and citizens, as well as meeting their aspirations and desires at all levels. Al Dhahrani asserted the keenness of the Council to the continuity of the national action and community partnership with all the institutions, associations and the figures who seek the elevation of homeland, its development and progress.
