Prime Minister Dr Wael al-Halqi affirmed that the government is open towards all political and social forces, including the opposition and armed groups. The Ministerial committee charged with Implementing the political program to resolve the crisis in Syria held a meeting with a delegation from the Syrian Nationalist Social Party (Al-Cham) on Monday. Premier al-Halqi said that the government took steps and provided guarantees for the return of displaced citizens and opposition forces abroad who wish to participate in national dialogue. In turn, the delegation members affirmed their party's support for the political program to resolve the crisis, stressing that the success of national dialogue requires creating a suitable atmosphere for dialogue based on mutual building of trust, through tackling the files of the detainees, abducted and adopting legal and social mechanisms to settle their cases. They underlined the need for discussing urgent issues like economy, the basic materials for citizens, combating corruption, providing job opportunities and realizing the principle of social justice.
