Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Dr. Juma'a bin Ahmed Al Ka'abi received today Board of Directors of Bahrain Society for Tolerance and Religious Coexistence, led by its Secretary General Yussef Buzaboon. He underlined the need to promote the culture of dialogue, coexistence and respect of the other among all components of the Bahraini society, being the main pillar of social stability and progress. He called on all to anchor those principles, bolster moderation and promote values of peace, justice and coexistence. He pointed out that boosting religious, doctrinal and religious tolerance is the core of the reform project of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He stressed Bahrain's status as a pioneering international model for religious tolerance and coexistence, adding that it has always been an oasis of peace, stability and respect of human rights. He praised the efforts and initiatives of Bahrain Society for Tolerance and Religious Coexistence in fostering those values and helping renounce violence, hatred, extremism and fanaticism. He also commended the society's role in boosting the Arab identity as well as the sense of belonging and patriotism, voicing the ministry's keenness to support it activities.
