Minister of Municipalities and Urban Planning Affairs, Dr. Jum'a bin Ahmed Al-K'abi, received today in his office at the Ministry the Malaysian Ambassador in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. Ahmed Shahizan Abdulsamad. At the meeting, the Minister welcomed the Malaysian Ambassador and wished him success in his new diplomatic assignment, and explored with him the progress of bilateral relations and aspects of mutual cooperation between the two friendly countries. Dr. Al-K'abi praised the current economic revival in Malaysia which he described as worthy of appreciation and from which the Kingdom of Bahrain looks forward to benefit in aspects of municipal, agricultural and planning work in addition to increading investment cooperation between both sides. On the other hand, the Malaysian Ambassador thanked the Minister for his interest in boosting and developing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, and undertook to bolster and develop these relations.
