Al-Qaeda leader killed in Yemen

One of the leaders of Al-Qaeda has been reported dead in southern Yemeni province of Abyan. Sources told AA that the members of Public Committees, responsible from securing the province, arrested Khalid As Sur, an Al-Qaeda leader in Yemen, during a raid conducted in the town of Ca'ar. The members of Public Committees opened fire when As Sur attempted to escape and shot him dead.
