Al Rawabdeh meets Arab Parliament Secretary General

Speaker of the House of Notables in Jordan Dr. Abdul Rauf Al Rawabdeh met here today with Arab Parliament Secretary-General Dr. Abdul Nasser Janahi. Talks during the meeting dealt with means of developing mechanisms of the joint Arab parliamentary action. In this respect, Al Rawabdeh underlined the importance of the implementation of the recommendations and resolutions of the Arab parliament session, held in Jordan recently, praising the role of the Arab Parliament in strengthening democracy and in making steps towards the creation of a unified Arab legislative body. The Arab Parliament yesterday concluded its second session in Amman. It was the first time for the Arab Parliament to be held outside the Arab League Headquarters.
