ALECSO condemns Tunisia, Kuwait terror attacks

The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) condemned the terrorist attacks which targeted the coastal city of Sousse in Tunisia and Imam Al-Sadoq Mosque in Kuwait.

In statement issued from its Tunis-based headquarters, it expressed full solidarity with the Tunisian and Kuwaiti peoples at these critical times, stressing the necessity of supporting the Tunisian and Kuwaiti Governments to eradicate the scourge of terrorism.

The pan-Arab institution stressed the importance of promoting education and culture to insulate the nation for the dangers of extremism and terrorism, urging efficient plans to deter all those who are seeking to subvert security and stability and jeopardize social peace.
