Algerian Ambassador to Jordan Mohamed Bourouba said Tuesday the Israeli side used to wriggle out of responsibility towards peace, in reference to Tel Aviv's rejection of a French initiative to hold an international peace conference to achieve peace in the region.
In statements to MENA correspondent in Amman on the sidelines of the Africa Day celebration, the Algerian diplomat called for unifying Arab efforts to face Israel's occupation of Palestine.
He expressed pessimism over peace conferences and initiatives.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu renewed days ago rejection of the French peace initiative, telling the French prime minister that peace cannot be forged through international conferences but only through direct negotiations.
