
In Russia’s Amur region, which suffers from the flood, 550 people have received monetary assistance. The total number of people, who require the assistance, is 6,500, the region’s headquarters on overcoming emergency situations told Itar-Tass on Sunday. “The government of the Amur region is paying out from its reserve fund ten thousand roubles to everyone who suffered in the flood,” the source said. “As of Sunday, the 550 people have received the money, and documents for another 345 people are ready. We estimate, the assistance is required for 6,500 people.” The local government is working on necessary documents to assist those who have lost their property.
