
A coordination meeting of the Arab-African partnership kicked off here on Wednesday which included the Arab and African TROIKAS, the Arab League and the African Union Commission within the framework of preparations for the 3rd Arab-Africa Summit to be hosted by Kuwait next week. The Arab TROIKA consists of Kuwait, Qatar and Iraq while the African TROIKA groups Chad, Benin and Ethiopia. The meeting included an opening session headed by the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry during which a number of Arab and African officials delivered speeches followed by a closing session of the participants. The past two days, meetings of the Arab-Africa Economic Forum were concluded with a number of recommendations whereas preparations for the upcoming summit are underway.
