
The Arab League will celebrate next Sunday the 53rd anniversary of Kuwait's national day in a move by the League to celebrate the national days of its member countries.Celebrating Kuwait's national day will be the second such celebration by the Arab League after it marked last month Sudan's national day, said assistant secretary general of the League Haifa Abu Ghazala in a press statement today.Next Sunday's celebration will showcase a cultural presentation of the state of Kuwait through a photo gallery, a documentary film, and a display of Kuwaiti artifacts.Arab League secretary general Nabil Al-Arabi, Kuwait's permanent representative to the League Ambassador Aziz Al-Daihani, president of the committee on women's affairs at the Kuwaiti cabinet Sheikha Latifa Al-Fahad, foreign ambassadors, and numerous other dignitaries are expected to attend next Sunday's celebration at the League's headquarters.Kuwait celebrates its national day on February 25 of every year.
