The Arab League has strongly condemned the series of bombings that occurred Sunday in some Iraqi cities, killing and wounding dozens of Iraqi people, including Iraqi security forces from the army and police. This came in a press statement by the Arab League Secretary General Dr. Nabil Al Arabi in which he expressed strong condemnation of the bombings, and considering them as a shocking disregard for the lives and security of Iraqi citizens and the safety and security of the Iraqi state. The Arab league Chief urged all Iraqi parties and political movements for concerted efforts to tackle differences through peaceful means and in conformity with the Constitution and laws, taking into account the higher interest of the homeland, and confront these terrorist acts that hinder Iraq's march in laying the foundations of democracy, pluralism, national reconciliation, and rebuilding of Iraq.
