The Arab League Deputy Secretary General Ahmed bin Heli has denied reports of the possibility of withdrawing the Arab League observers from Syria. Bin Heli underlined Wednesday that the reports were incorrect, saying that the Arab League is working to support and strengthen the observers mission not withdrawing its members. He noted that the Arab ministerial committee meeting in charge of handling the Syrian crisis will meet on Saturday to discuss the first report submitted by the head of the Arab League observers Lt. Gen. Mohammed Ahmed Mustafa al-Dabi. The committee is to consider the progress made to the mission of Arab League observers in Syria in accordance to the protocol which was signed last month, he added.
