
Arab League Secretary General Nabil Elaraby left here today for a two-day visit to New Delhi during which he will hold with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid on means to enhance the Indo-Arab relations. Al Araby said during the visit an agreement of understanding will be signed between the Arab League and India in the context of the Arab-India Cooperation Forum, established in 2008 to expand areas of coopertion between the sides in economic, scientific and technological fields. On December 2,2008 India and Arab league signed a memorandum of cooperation to set up Arab-India Cooperation Forum, which acts as a joint mechanism to boost mutual cooperation. Amr Moussa, form Arab League Secretary General signed the memorandum of cooperation with former India Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee in New Delhi.\
