Arab League Secretary General to attend UN meeting on Somalia

Director of the Arab League department for African affairs Samir Hosni said here on Monday that Arab League’s Secretary General will participate in the international summit on Somalia which will be held on the margins of the UN General Assembly. Speaking to journalists here today, Hosni said that Al Arabi will outlines the Arab efforts in helping those countries affected by the famine. He will also shedlight on the vision of the Arab world on how to help Somalia in the coming period on humanitarian and political levels. Somalian President Sheikh Sharif Ahmed will attend the meeting as well.
