Arab League welcomes agreement on just solution to south issue

The Arab League (AL) on Thursday welcomed the agreement made in Yemen on a document of just solution to the issue of South signed on Monday. The political components in the mini-committee stemming from the South issue team at the National Dialogue Conference (NDC) signed on Monday the document that contains solutions and guarantees to the South issue. In a statement issued by the AL General Secretariat, AL Secretary General Nabil al-Arabi commended the efforts of the President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, which has led to a consensus on a document to resolve the South issue within the framework of the new political system in Yemen, as part of the NDC's outcomes. He called on all Yemeni parties to continue to work together in order to address all outstanding issues and move forward in the political transition process in order to preserve Yemen's unity, security and stability.
