The Arab Parliament called on the United Nations and the Arab League to stop Iran's violations of the UN Security Council resolution on Yemen, and its obstructing the Renewal of Hope operation which aims at pursuing a political solution for the Yemeni crisis.
Speaker of Arab Parliament Ahmed el Jarwan condemned on Wednesday "Iran's blatant interference" and its endeavor to fan flames of war in Yemen, accusing Tehran of supporting violence by providing the Houthi militants with weapons.
He further urged the international community to resolve the crisis in the war-ravaged Yemen as soon as possible, noting that the situation there could be disastrous as the summer approaches.
